When you open the site, the web server writes an entry to a log file. It contains your IP address, date and time, the address requested, the referring link and your browser's identifier. This cannot technically be avoided when running a website.
Purpose and legal basis: operation, stability and security of the server — in particular defence against overload and abuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is keeping the site technically functional and resilient. The logs are not merged with other data and are not used to analyse user behaviour.
Retention: the log files are overwritten continuously. The last five files of 10 MB each are kept; older entries are deleted automatically. How many days that covers depends on traffic — so there is no fixed period in days.
The site counts how often the home page was opened on a given day. Sub-pages and filter changes are not counted. All that is stored is one number per calendar day — for example “11/08/2026: 1,284”. Neither your IP address nor your browser's identifier, the referring link or a time of day is recorded, and nothing is stored in your browser.
No individual visitor can be read out of this counter and none can be recognised — it has no personal reference. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: the interest in knowing whether the site is used at all. No consent banner is required for it, because no information is accessed on your device (§ 25 TDDDG).
The site sets no cookies. Exactly one value is stored, and even that only for the duration of a click.
It is one value in sessionStorage (zuMaps), and only if you pick a rank tier in step 1.
For the duration of one click it remembers that the next page should scroll to the map list, and it is deleted again
immediately on load. It contains no personal data and allows no recognition.
Because this access is strictly necessary for the function you asked for, it is exempt from consent under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG. That is why there is no consent banner here.
This site analyses publicly available data from Supercell's official Brawl Stars API: battle logs, player tags, player names and club membership. This data does not concern you as a visitor to the site but game accounts — it is collected regardless of whether you visit.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: the interest in a statistical analysis of publicly available game data. Only aggregated quantities are analysed — usage frequencies and win rates per brawler, map and rank tier. Individual battle participations are deleted after a day, battle IDs after two weeks; details are under Where the numbers come from.
If you are a player and do not want your tag to appear here, write to me — I will take it out.
The site runs on a rented server inside the European Union. The provider processes the log data named above as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. No transfer to third countries takes place.
The connection is encrypted end to end via HTTPS. The certificate comes from Let's Encrypt and renews automatically.
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Because the processing of log data rests on a legitimate interest, you also have a right to object under Art. 21 GDPR.
An informal message to robin.bosch@web.de is enough for any of these.
