Meta Tierlist

Not “who has the highest win rate”, but on how much of the rotation is he a real option at all. That is the question a tier list asks — and it has a different answer.

Trophy Roadchange

Computed across 176 maps of the current rotation. On a map a brawler counts as an option if he wins more than 50% there — but only once enough games have accumulated that it cannot be chance any more (at least 100; from a handful of games a good win rate is easily just luck, so we deliberately compute conservatively and subtract a safety margin). And not every map counts the same: maps that come up often in the rotation weigh more than ones you rarely see.

Two things you need to know when reading this. First: maps on which a brawler is played too rarely to have a number of his own still count — as “not an option”. That makes a difference: Jacky is above 50% on 5 of the 11 maps where he is measurable at all — across all 176 maps of the rotation it is 5 of 176. The strong on column in the table shows both numbers side by side. Second: F does not mean unplayable. It only means he does not get safely above 50% on any map of this rotation — a statement about this season and these maps, not about the brawler.

Specialists

The ones a tier list gets systematically wrong: narrow breadth, but a peak in the top tenth of the field. They sit low in the bands because they carry almost nowhere — on their one map they are still the best pick there is. That is not a measurement error, it is the flip side of the definition.

The numbers behind it

Sorted like the bands above. The overall win rate is his win rate across all maps together — which is what most tier lists sort by. The rotation column is what this list sorts by: on how much of the played rotation he is a real option. Where the two drift far apart you have a specialist — someone who looks strong because he is only played where he is good.
